Cedar Rapids, Iowa has a great number of colleges, universities, and technical training programs. Cedar Rapids is the home of two four-year colleges, Coe College and Mount Mercy College. In addition to this, the University of Iowa has an evening MBA facility in Cedar Rapids.

Kirkwood Community College is the only two-year community college within Cedar Rapids, while Kaplan University  and Upper Iowa University also have campuses in the city. There are two colleges within 30 miles of Cedar Rapids: Cornell College is in Mount Vernon and the University of Iowa's main campus is in Iowa City.
